The ranch is a perfect place for family vacations, ranch holidays, family reunions, weddings, or just to get away for a day! The ranch offers horseback riding designed to suit every level, beautiful scenery, luxury accommodations and healthy, home-cooked meals. The ranch also offers cattle roundups, children's rodeos, hayrides, campfires, overnight trail rides, hiking, mountain biking and much more. Fill every day with activity, or just relax out by the pool, hot tub or hammock.

We are located adjacent to the Hill Country State Natural Area, which contains over 40 miles of unspoiled trails in a breathtaking setting. Nearby Bandera has great cowboy shopping, old time saloons and plenty of cowboys and cowgirls!

A Typical Day
~ 7:00 am: Help feed and water the horses
~ 8:00 am: Breakfast bell
~ 9:30 am: Morning trail ride
~ 11:00 am: Private lesson or swim
~ 12:00 pm: Lunch bell
~ 1:00 pm: Relax, hike, bike or shop
~ 3:00 pm: Afternoon trail ride
~ 4:30 pm: Private lesson or swim
~ 6:00 pm: Dinner bell
~ 7:00 pm: Cowboy entertainment/hayride
~ 9:00 pm: Campfire singalong, roast marshmallows, gaze at the stars
~ 10:00 pm: Off to bed

Activities

~ Horseback Riding
Great horseback riding in unspoiled Texas Hill Country. The combination of the ranch and the adjoining Hill Country State Natural Area offers over 40 miles of trails.
Note: Minimum age of 7 on all trail rides. (under 7 rides available in arena)

~ Mountain Biking
Bring your mountain bike and get in that exercise while enjoying the beautiful and breathtaking sites! Novice to experienced bike trails are located adjacent to the ranch.

~ Hot Tub
After a day in the saddle or hiking, enjoy a relaxing soak in the spa and enjoy the fascinating sunset. At night, enjoy thousands of stars!

~ Private Lessons
If you ever wanted to learn to barrel race or run poles, heres your chance! Additional charge.

~ Hiking
Take along some water and a sandwich to walk through and enjoy the great vastness of Texas Hill Country. Hike to the top of the Hill Country State Natural Area and view the entire ranch and park below you.

~ Tubing
Located just 10 miles away in downtown Bandera. Tube the crystal-clear Medina River for one, two, three or four hours. Additional cost.

~ Hay Rides
Nothing like an old-fashioned hay ride. See wildlife and relax. Hope you don't mind a little hay on the seat of your jeans.

~ Day Trips
Talk to staff about day trips to San Antonio (home of the Alamo and Riverwalk), Fredericksburg, Boerne, Bandera, Kerrville, or Natural Bridge Caverns. Our 10 passenger van will take your group to the destination of your choice. Additional charge.

~ Overnight Campouts
Ride your horse to your campsite, enjoy a great meal cooked over your campfire, sleep under the stars and then ride your horse back to the ranch the next day. Additional charge.

~ Round-up
Help us get these cows in a pen. This is a real cowboy experience and one you will enjoy.

~ Arena
Learn how to Barrel Race and Pole Bending. Lots of fun and earn ribbons and trophies.

~ Shopping
Great cowboy shopping in nearby Bandera. Antique shopping in nearby Fredericksburg, Boerne, Comfort and Kerrville. Downtown San Antonio, home of the Alamo and the Riverwalk, is only one hour away.

~ Bird Watching
One of the favorite activities of our guests. Bring your binoculars and guide book. Lots of other wildlife to enjoy, too!

Lodging
Our ranch offers deluxe suites for an upscale guest ranch vacation. Large porches, a shaded pool and outdoor spa complement our large dining room and lodge room. You can rough-it and still have a mint on your pillow! We can also accommodate groups in our new bunkhouse.

Meals
We serve healthy, home-cooked Texas-size meals! Most of our meals are prepared from scratch, and we are always keeping an eye on the ingredients. We want our guests and family to be happy and healthy! Our guests and family are happy because the food tastes great! And healthy because we use fresh fruits and vegetables and natural ingredients, and heart-healthy fats.

Don't worry, we always have plenty - and seconds or even thirds are there if you want. We also believe that dessert should be a part of every lunch and dinner. So be healthy and enjoy your meals!
